    Description

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This 1999 Triumph Sprint ST w/ 955cc 3-cylinder electronically controlled fuel injection in Tornado Red and many extras per listing below.
The bike has been ridden only 16,000 miles, has a clean title, and is priced to sell.
This bike is extremely comfortable to ride due to its ergonomics, is very quick in accelerating, has excellent brakes, is very forgiving, and feels docile, nothing jerky in either accelerating or braking.
Yet if you really roll on the throttle at any time, this bike reaches whatever speed you want amazingly quickly.
The braking effect is equally quick when required.
The mix of great performance mated with seemingly docile feeling and comfortable riding position is extraordinary in my opinion.
I never wanted more from this bike – why tamper with perfection!
Having taken a number of road trips and loaded down the bike with clothing, tent, sleeping bag, etc., I never wanted another bike.
Another very nice feature of this bike is its low basic weight at 432 lb.
With 110 hp available in a 3-cyclinder engine coupled with the low weight, this bike can perform in any way a skilled rider wants.
There are so many fantastic features: faultless electronic fuel injection, perimeter beam frame, beautiful body work, easily removable well-integrated and handsome 3-piece pannier system, adjustable suspension, single-sided swingarm in rear with eccentric chain adjuster, comfortable seating and ride, terrific problem-free 6-speed transmission, and free-revving engine-never running out of power when throttle rolled on.
I've owned and ridden a number of bikes and nothing comes close to the joy of riding this machine.  When riding my Sprint ST, I always feel comfortable, connected, and in control, ready for whatever kind of hard surface road is thrown at me, be it endless twisties in Colorado's canyons, California's coastal Route 1, rides up and down Colorado's Pikes Peak and Mount Evans, chasing other riders at Laguna Seca on track days, and certainly anything in between.
Such an amazing and beautiful steed!
I'm 180lbs and 6'0"-6'2".in case you're interested for comparison sake.

    CONDITION of BIKE:
This bike is a real beauty, runs perfectly, handles great, is totally reliable, has no leaks, and gets great gas mileage. The battery is in new condition, is spill-proof, and requires zero maintenance. Tires are fine.
This bike has always been garaged. It has no issues, such as starting and idling issues.
I have been very easy on this bike and have always maintained it at a high level.
A potential buyer should know that I take special care of all of my "toys" and this bike is no exception. While I keep all my bikes at the highest level maintenance-wise, I am much more interested in riding than making my bikes look show-room perfect, so don't expect the pictures to reflect how stunning this bike can look when meticulously detailed.
    REASON for SELLING:
I no longer feel comfortable riding a motorcycle anymore because of knee and hand arthritis pain and related weaknesses in those areas.
    HISTORY:
I purchased this bike new and used it mostly for lengthy day trips and short pleasure rides out in the countryside. All the upgrades were made to improve the quality of the ride, overall comfort, and overall performance.
The bike has been used on a couple of well-known California race tracks for weekend track experiences – the bike was fantastic with outstanding adhesion characteristics under all high speed track conditions
    – could not ask for better from a sport touring bike.
I have had several other sport and off-road bikes for other uses, which explains the low mileage. The bike has always been garaged and maintained at the highest level.
It is ready to ride, as is. The Buyer will not be disappointed with his/her purchase.
    CONDITIONS & PAYMENTS:
The Buyer may arrange for pick-up of the bike only after successful receipt of a 0.00 deposit into my eBay account. The outstanding balance will be due in cash at time of pick-up. Only cash in the form of US Currency will be acceptable for payment for the Bike when any part of the payment is to be made with cash. When payment is made, both the conveyed title for the Bike and the Bike itself with all listed items will be turned over to the Buyer.
